Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive expansion within our strategic accounts. This role focuses on maximizing customer value through sophisticated up-sell and cross-sell strategies while leveraging our partner ecosystem to accelerate growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing AWS consumption within existing customers who already have significant AWS footprint.
The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with technical knowledge understanding how to maximize value from existing customer relationships while identifying new growth opportunities. They should be comfortable working with C-level executives and have a proven track record of expanding technology footprint within large enterprises.
This role requires a strategic mindset excellent communication skills and the ability to orchestrate complex sales campaigns involving multiple stakeholders both internal and external to AWS.
Key job responsibilities
oDrive expansion of AWS services within existing accounts through strategic account planning and execution
oExperience prospecting and acquiring net-new AWS customers
oDevelop and implement up-sell and cross-sell strategies to increase AWS adoption
oWork closely with AWS partners to create joint value propositions and go-to-market strategies
oIdentify and capitalize on new business opportunities within assigned accounts
oCreate and execute account plans that align with customers business objectives
oCoordinate with solution architects and professional services to ensure customer success
oMonitor and analyze customer usage patterns to identify growth opportunities
oAchieve quarterly and annual revenue targets through expansion strategies

-5 years of enterprise software/cloud sales experience
-Bachelors degree in Business Technology or related field.
-Proven track record of growing existing accounts through up-sell/cross-sell strategies
-Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and service portfolios with good relationship management and negotiation skills
-Experience in LATAM markets and business culture and complex enterprise sales cycles
-Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus)
-Previous experience selling AWS or other major cloud platforms
-History of exceeding quota in enterprise account management
-Experience working with technology partners and system integrators
-Understanding of cloud architecture and migration strategies
-Cloud certification (AWS Azure or GCP)
