What youll do

The Data Analyst-Wagering plays a central role in transforming raw data into actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions. Operating with a high degree of independence this role involves owning datasets building reusable data assets with dbt designing analyses building scalable dashboards and collaborating across business functions.

Key Accountabilities:

Transform and analyse structured and unstructured data from multiple sources (databases API etc)
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools (tableau).
Provide deep-dive analysis and ad-hoc reporting to support various business functions
Work closely with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Identify opportunities and insights in data and recommend actions to stakeholders
Document data processes and methodologies
Mentor junior data analysts

What youll bring

Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics Statistics Economics Computer Science Business Analytics)
2-4 years of hands-on data analysis analytics engineering or data engineering experience in a business setting
Experience working cross-functionally with business and technical teams
Strong SQL and python skills
Proficient in data visualization tools (esp Tableau)
Experience with spreadsheets (Excel for ad hoc work)
Working knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis
Exposure to a modern data stack (e.g. Git SQL-based warehouses such as Databricks
Experience with data warehousing solutions Cloud-based tools such as Databricks AWS and dbt
