Technical Expertise and amp; Guidance: and nbsp;
Provide systems level technical expertise and collaborate with the rest of IT Operations SMEs responsible for the operations and maintenance of the CCIM managed technology infrastructure systems tools and application environments and nbsp;
Provide options and recommendations for technical solutions
Perform daily systems monitoring and analysis identify technical impacts of implementing systems changes and create mitigation strategies that will have the least impact to the stable operations of the production environments
Recommend the selection of tools to assist organizations in delivering their business services
Participate in business process and related systems re-engineering to understand the impacts of technology on the broader system
Develop business cases as required for the analysis and evaluation of a variety of solution options within the context of operations and any assigned projects
Develop technical systems specifications to support functional specifications in collaboration with business analysts
Perform a variety of data analysis tasks to understand system implications and impacts
Liaise with vendors to support the resolution and implementation of technical fixes as required
Provide support activities and collaboration with other technical stakeholders with varying degrees of technical knowledge and assigned responsibilities
Contribute to the development of systems test strategies and criteria definition in support of issue resolutions
Perform regular configuration maintenance of the various information technology (IT) environments and systems that support the application systems e.g. network server testing QA and production
Assist in the development of program-wide technical standards and artifacts
Assist in the design development and testing of application components interfaces and integrations
Document existing system capabilities (user interfaces functionality data and reports) as configured and delivered and maintain current documentation for all systems procedures processes and manuals
Gather appropriate business and technical stakeholder input for design issues and options
Identify opportunities for systems process automation and operational automations
Undertake the implementation of approved process automation and operational automation
Provide after-hours support as required

Ensure technical environments implementations are tested for quality assurance:
Participates in walkthroughs of functional and technical specifications business and system requirements
Identifies problems indicated through the testing the level of risk priority and if necessary escalates unresolved issues and creates a trouble ticket
Knowledge and experience with various testing tools functional and non-functional types of testing testing methodologies and knowledge of the latest testing technologies

Participates in the setup and establishment of the test environment set up/maintain and administer Virtual Machines
Perform production change activities and validations outside of regular business hours and on weekends as required
