The Bar Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar ensuring an exceptional guest experience and managing a dedicated team of bar staff. Furthermore your duties will include:
- Ensuring that approved service sequences and standards are established and maintained at all times
- Have an understanding of all licensing and operating legislation which affects the department including the Liquor Act.
- Perform monthly stock takes on all beverage stock and complete timely reporting of inventory management findings.
- Assist in staff rostering and developing training plans for all outlet Team Members.
- Monitor the venues budget control costs and maximise profitability.
- Assist guests with all enquiries and complaints while providing accurate information to guests about property facilities and features.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and care of all equipment and materials
- Collaborate with the Venue Manager on events and promotions.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a Bar Manager in a luxury bar
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Knowledge of bar inventory management and ordering processes
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and public holidays
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
