Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business
opportunities building relationships with potential clients and expanding the customer base
of the call centre. This role involves strategic planning market research and working closely
with other departments to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy and Planning: o Develop and implement business development strategies and plans to achieve
sales targets.
o Identify and evaluate new business opportunities market trends and potential
clients.
o Create and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and track progress
through CRM tools.
2. Client Acquisition: o Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their
needs.
o Generate leads through various channels such as networking cold calling
email campaigns and social media.
o Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to
prospective clients.
3. Relationship Management: o Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with new and existing
clients.
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients addressing their needs and
ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
o Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business deals.
4. Collaboration and Coordination: o Work closely with the operations team to ensure the successful onboarding of
new clients.
o Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns
that support business development efforts.
o Liaise with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience and
resolve any issues that arise.
5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
o Track and report on business development activities sales performance and
market feedback.
o Analyse sales data to identify trends opportunities and areas for
improvement.
o Provide regular updates to senior management on progress against business
development goals.
6. Industry Knowledge: o Stay updated on industry trends competitive landscape and emerging
technologies in the call center industry.
o Attend industry conferences trade shows and networking events to build
connections and stay informed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field. Proven experience in business development sales or a similar role preferably within
the call center or BPO industry.
Strong understanding of the call center industry including services technologies and
market dynamics.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated goal-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a
team.
