Are you ready to make a significant impact at a growing law firm Altman Nussbaum is seeking a dedicated and detail-orientedAccountantto join our in-house team. Youll play a critical role in managing IOLTA accounts preparing tax returns and keeping our books accurate and up to date.
This is a100% on-site position we believe the best work happens together!
Manage and reconcile IOLTA accounts in compliance with applicable regulations
Prepare corporate personal and multi-entity tax returns
Handle bookkeeping on a weekly monthly and quarterly basis
Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks
Ensure accuracy timeliness and compliance in all accounting functions
Partner with leadership to support reporting budgeting and forecasting needs
Proven experience in accounting ideally within a legal or professional services environment
Strong expertise in IOLTA account management tax preparation and bookkeeping
Proficiency with QuickBooks and related accounting tools
Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required
Competitive salary range of $80000 $100000 depending on experience
