Job Summary
Job Title: Perfusionist Contract Assignment
Location: Greenville SC 29605
Contract Length: 1320 weeks (flexible holiday coverage available)
Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)
Minimum5 years of experienceas a Perfusionist
Schedule:
Day shift 5x8-hour (08:00 AM 4:30 PM)
No block scheduling
Holiday coverage: must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays if applicable (12/2612/31 off not permitted)
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Perfusionist for an exciting job in Greenville SC 29605.The Perfusionist will be responsible for operating cardiopulmonary bypass and other life-support equipment during surgical procedures ensuring patient safety and supporting a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity teaching hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Operate monitor and maintain cardiopulmonary bypass machines and other extracorporeal support devices during surgery.
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers to deliver safe high-quality patient care.
Support procedures in a Trauma Level I and teaching hospital environment.
Demonstrate adherence to clinical protocols and evidence-based practices.
Maintain documentation and compliance with all relevant policies guidelines and safety standards.
Float to other qualified units or campuses as required based on staffing and census needs.
Qualifications
Required:
Certification: Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP).
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Perfusionist.
Prior experience in Trauma Level I and teaching hospital settings.
Preferred:
BLS (AHA).
ACLS (AHA).
Facility Vaccine Guidelines
COVID-19: Not required.
Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions).
