Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Williamstown MA
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a rehabilitation-focused skilled nursing environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services aimed at improving functional independence cognitive skills and overall patient quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations to identify patient needs and functional limitations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
Provide therapeutic interventions targeting ADLs fine motor skills cognitive functioning and adaptive strategies.
Document evaluations treatment sessions progress notes and care plans in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure cohesive patient-centered care.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises adaptive equipment and safe techniques for daily activities.
Participate in care conferences and contribute to discharge planning as needed.
Maintain a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that promotes patient progress.
Modify treatment plans as required based on patient performance and clinical judgment.
Adhere to professional standards state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.
Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain prior to start).
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
Strong assessment communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
