Job Summary

Fastpoint Games is looking for a Senior Engineer for itsBackend Services team.

The ideal candidate can both lead a team or work in a group;likes a fast-paced startup environment; is highly motivated and enjoys newtechnology and new challenges.

Were looking for:

-Experience with Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails

-Extensive experience in building distributedweb-based applications and working with web-services

-Background in platform-oriented architectures

-Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinkingskills

-A true passion for Sports and/or Fantasy Sports

-Better than average experience with XML (DOM andSAX) processing

-At home on the linux command line

-Experience using Oracle or Postgres

-Experience with multi-threaded or multi-processprogramming models in the real world not in the hello world

-Someone who has experience working in environments wherethere is more going on than just page views

-Familiarity with the full SDLC version controland all the other aspects of professional development
