Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team in Elko Nevada. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering accurate timely and high-quality lab results that make a difference in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analyze and interpret a variety of laboratory tests in hematology chemistry immunology and microbiology.
- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment for optimal performance.
- Accurately record and report test results to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
- ASCP AMT or equivalent Medical Technologist certification
- Nevada General Supervisor Laboratory License (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of prior experience as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Preferred Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
