Job Description
Position: Lead Medical Technologist Days
Location: Los Angeles CA 90056
Duration : 12 Weeks
Pay : $44/hr - 52/hr
Position Information:
Under administrative direction the Lead CLS is responsible for laboratory operations and personnel performing testing. Serves as lead technologist for assigned hospital/ sections of the laboratory and performs related administrative duties provides technical oversight to assure a high quality of laboratory testing for patient care. Performs analysis in microbiology according to expected performance standards and has broad decision-making authority and independence.
Facility Requirements:
- Must have B.S. or equivalent in Medical Technology or related clinical field
- Must have ASCP certification this must be attached to the submission
- Must have CA Clinical Lab Scientist license; this must be attached to the submission
- Must have BLS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)
- Must have 5 years lab supervisory experience
- Must have knowledge of Blood Bank UA CBC & ISTAT experience
Shifts will be Monday- Friday 7-3:30 or 8-4 on call
