Job Description
This Medical Assistant position supports multiple physicians in an ambulatory care setting. Responsibilities include processing authorizations coordinating patient treatments and potentially performing phlebotomy. The role requires strong multitasking teamwork and a fast learning aptitude. Prior medical office or ambulatory experience is preferred.
- Coordinating patient treatments.
- Performing phlebotomy (preferred not required).
- Supporting physicians in the medical department.
- Multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborating with team members.
- Performing other related administrative and clinical tasks as assigned.
- Excellent multitasking and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- BLS certification.
- Oncology experience.
- No floating between units.
- Block scheduling is at the managers discretion.
- RTO (Return to Office) is required.
- Potential for assignment to a different location within a 50-mile radius.
- Weekends and holidays off.
