Job Description

RN Float Pool Telemetry (Permanent Role)

Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12-hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor assess and treat patients requiring cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical care.
  • Perform and document accurate nursing assessments interventions and outcomes.
  • Float between telemetry and med-surg units based on hospital needs.
  • Manage insulin protocols stable drips and conduct NIH stroke assessments (preferred).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control policies.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
  • License/Certification:
    • Active RN license in the state of Texas.
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) Required within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in the United States.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a Medical Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting.
    • Float pool experience highly desired but not required.
    • Experience with insulin management stable IV drips and NIH stroke scale assessments is preferred.
