Job Description
Location: Rowlett TX 75088
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Supervise nursing staff in the Emergency Department ensuring effective and compassionate patient care.
- Act as a resource and mentor for clinical staff providing guidance coaching and performance feedback.
- Coordinate daily operational workflows including patient flow triage staffing and crisis management.
- Monitor quality indicators compliance with hospital policies and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Participate in department-based initiatives quality improvement projects and staff development programs.
- Serve as liaison between staff and hospital leadership to address concerns and implement best practices.
- Ensure that Emergency Department resources are used efficiently and appropriately.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support Electronic Health Record (EHR) usage.
Education:
- Associates Degree in Nursing (Required)
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of Emergency Department RN experience
- At least 2 years in a Charge RN or leadership role within an ED setting
Licensure/Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
