Job Summary

RN Post Partum (Permanent Role)

Location: Grapevine TX 76051
Shift: 12-hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns
Monitor vital signs physical recovery and emotional well-being of mothers
Assess and support newborns during the immediate postpartum period
Educate new mothers and families on infant care breastfeeding and postpartum recovery
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians lactation consultants and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for mother and baby

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Postpartum Mom/Baby or Couplet Care nursing required
