Job Description
Location: Grapevine TX 76051
Shift: 12-hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Provide direct nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns
- Monitor vital signs physical recovery and emotional well-being of mothers
- Assess and support newborns during the immediate postpartum period
- Educate new mothers and families on infant care breastfeeding and postpartum recovery
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians lactation consultants and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for mother and baby
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Postpartum Mom/Baby or Couplet Care nursing required
