Job Description
Location: Rowlett TX 75088
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Lead and support nursing staff on the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate patient care delivery with the interdisciplinary team.
- Manage staffing assignments based on patient acuity and unit needs.
- Monitor clinical care to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Support staff with clinical decision-making and escalate care when needed.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance efforts.
- Mentor and support the professional development of team members.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and the healthcare team.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- License: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS preferred but not mandatory at time of hire.
