Job Summary

RN- Charge Med Surg Tele (Permanent Role)

Location: Rowlett TX 75088
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support nursing staff on the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit during assigned shifts.
Coordinate patient care delivery with the interdisciplinary team.
Manage staffing assignments based on patient acuity and unit needs.
Monitor clinical care to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Support staff with clinical decision-making and escalate care when needed.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance efforts.
Mentor and support the professional development of team members.
Communicate effectively with patients families and the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
License: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS preferred but not mandatory at time of hire.
