Job Description

RN Bone Marrow (Permanent Role)

Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12-hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
  • Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient conditions and needs.
  • Modify care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families providing emotional support and guidance.
  • Educate patients families and community members to empower informed healthcare decisions.
  • Assess learning needs and adjust education strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated high-quality care.
  • Delegate nursing tasks appropriately and follow up to ensure completion and quality.
  • Apply effective problem-solving techniques to manage patient and staff challenges.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety efficiency and quality of care.
  • Support team collaboration mentor peers and participate in community outreach initiatives.
Key Success Factors:
  • In-depth understanding of professional nursing practices patient care standards and clinical procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable nursing laws rules and regulations.
  • Familiarity with hospital protocols infection control and emergency procedures.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology disease prevention pharmacology and common treatment side effects.
  • Adherence to ethical and privacy standards in all patient interactions.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current active RN license (Texas).
  • Minimum 2 years of inpatient experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
