Job Description
RN Cardiovascular ICU (Permanent Role)
Location: Plano TX 75093
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize critical changes in health status.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust plans as needed.
- Ensure the safe transfer and transportation of patients.
- Provide direct patient care education and support to patients and their families.
- Prevent complications by anticipating and identifying potential health issues early.
- Comply with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and institutional policies.
- Delegate nursing responsibilities appropriately based on patient condition and team competencies.
- Experience:
- Strong experience in Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) required.
- CVICU or Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) experience.
- Education:
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure & Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
