Job Description

The Compensation and People Analytics Partner plays a critical role in shaping equitable data-informed people strategies by combining deep expertise in compensation with strong analytical capabilities. This role designs and manages competitive pay and total rewards programs while delivering workforce insights that guide talent decisions across the organization. As a strategic advisor and hands-on contributor the partner ensures alignment between compensation practices total rewards programs business goals and employee experience.  

Job Responsibilities  

Compensation Strategy & Benchmarking 

  • Partner with People and Talent Acquisition teams to deliver compensation analyses and salary recommendations that align with internal equity and market competitiveness. 
  • Conduct and maintain compensation benchmarking ensuring alignment with FLSA classifications job architecture and market standards. 
  • Act as a key contributor compensation design job leveling accurate market matches and support and career pathing. 
  • Lead participation in compensation surveys and evaluate new survey tools to enhance market intelligence. 
  • Manage annual and quarterly compensation reviews including data preparation budget analysis training materials resources securing approvals and maintaining accurate data. 
  • Support the design and documentation of commission and incentive plans in collaboration with Finance and Sales teams. 
  • Ensure incentive programs (e.g. bonuses stock options) are documented communicated and partner with payroll to ensure timely payments. 

People Analytics & Reporting 

  • Develop and maintain dashboards reports and presentation materials for HR leadership and executive stakeholders. 
  • Deliver headcount and compensation analytics to support workforce planning staffing budgets and organizational design. 
  • Serve as a key liaison between People and Finance teams to align budgeting forecasting strategic planning and maintaining key dashboards and data refreshes on a regular basis. 
  • Prepare People analytics and presentation materials for HRLT meetings. 
  • Analyze engagement surveys compare results over time and present insights in PowerPoint. 
  • Collaborate with HRLT People Partners and Recruiting to deliver dashboards and reporting solutions. 
  • Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation proofing and quality control processes. 
  • Develop Excel-based SOPs templates and reporting standards for the People team. 

Benefits & Operational Support 

  • Analyze benefits utilization and support open enrollment reporting to ensure data accuracy and compliance. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize reporting practices and develop enhancements or create new Excel-based SOPs templates and tools. 
  • Continuously improving reporting capabilities and data storytelling to enhance decision-making across the People function. 

Qualifications :

  • Hands-on experience managing annual and/or quarterly compensation review cycles. 
  • Familiarity with FLSA classifications job leveling frameworks and internal equity principles. 
  • Experience supporting or designing incentive programs including bonuses commissions and equity. 
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation systems (e.g. Workday SAP SuccessFactors or similar). 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas VLOOKUPs pivot tables general analytics functions and experience building dashboards or reports. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data make informed decisions and recommendations and take complex data into clear actionable insights and executive-ready presentations. 
  • Ability to integrate data from multiple platforms and maintain accurate data on an ongoing basis 
  • Ability to complete work accurately and efficiently with minimal to no mistakes 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to maintain strong working relationships with peers team and stakeholders 
  • Strong communication and presenting skills 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business analytics human resource management business management finance mathematics or similar is required 
  • 5 years of experience in compensation data analytics total rewards people operations or a combination of both. 
  • 5 years of experience in a role conducting compensation benchmarking and market pricing using tools like Radford Mercer or Willis Towers Watson. 
  • SHRM or PHR certification is a plus. 
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) is a plus. 
  • Experience with survey platforms and engagement tools (e.g. Workday Peakon) is beneficial. 

Travel Requirements 

  • Regular travel is not required. 

Fair Labor Standards Act Status

  • Salaried Exempt: Personnel will earn their regular salary and not be entitled to overtime pay when they work over 40 hours in a work week. 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
