Job Description
Permanent Surgery/General Day Shift
Location: Austin TX 78735
Shift: Full-time days 08:00 AM 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform a full range of general surgery procedures including but not limited to appendectomies hernia repairs cholecystectomies and minor soft tissue procedures.
- Evaluate and manage patients pre-operatively operatively and post-operatively.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Provide consultative surgical services as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Doctorate Degree (MD or DO) in Medicine.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas.
- Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery.
- At least 3 years of experience in general surgery post-residency.
- Proficient in a wide range of general surgical procedures (bread and butter cases).
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
