Job Description
Permanent Physician Assistant-Surgery Day Shift
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: Full Time Days 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Conduct comprehensive or problem-focused physical exams and obtain medical histories to assess the physical and mental condition of patients.
- Order collect interpret and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests to determine patient issues and health care needs.
- Prescribe and recommend medications or therapeutic treatments and perform procedures per policy guidelines.
- Recommend behavioral modifications and interventions to reduce health risks.
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized patient treatment plans based on clinical assessments and best practices.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Continuously evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments as necessary.
- Education: Graduation from an Accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year required in:
- First Assist in Surgery
- Cardiovascular/Thoracic (CV/CT) procedures
- Vein Harvesting
- Minimum 1 year required in:
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Physician Assistant (PA) License-Valid and active
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-Must be current or obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer
