Permanent Nurse Practitioner-Urgent Care Day Shift Location: Round Rock TX 78665
Shift: Full-Time Days
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions: - Conducts comprehensive and problem-focused physical exams and health histories.
- Orders interprets and evaluates diagnostic and lab tests.
- Prescribes and manages therapeutic treatments and medications based on clinical assessment and evidence-based guidelines.
- Develops implements and monitors individualized outcomes-based treatment plans.
- Evaluates patient response to care and modifies treatment accordingly.
- Educates and counsels patients and families on health conditions medications nutrition and preventive health.
- Maintains detailed documentation of patient visits plans and outcomes.
- Initiates consultations or referrals when a condition is outside scope of practice or expertise.
- Provides specialty-specific consultation services.
- Performs minor procedures within scope and competency as delegated by supervising physician.
- May provide additional patient care during extended hours based on departmental needs.

Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Experience: Less than 1 year required (new graduates welcome).
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Texas.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification-required within 30 days of hire.
