Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Business Development Manager to streamline coordination between Sales Supply Chain Technical and Finance teams for our B2B distribution operations. The role is focused on operational excellence and business growth in the chemical food and nutraceutical sectors. The candidate will be a vital link between internal teams and external suppliers ensuring seamless execution and communication.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Purchase & Supplier CoordinationDevelop monthly purchase plans based on sales forecasts.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement and delivery.
Share monthly quarterly half-yearly and annual performance reports with suppliers.
Conduct regular reviews (weekly fortnightly monthly) with sales & marketing teams.
Prepare and monitor travel schedules aligned with business goals and priority markets.
Follow up on Purchase Orders (P.O.) for client quotes and inquiries.
Liaise with the technical team to:
Monitor status of pending samples.
Address and resolve technical queries.
Maintain sample stock registers and update CRM databases.
Work with the collection team to:
Track outstanding client payments.
Segregate debit notes and bad debts.
Collaborate with the finance team on tax compliance import duties and documentation for imported goods.
Coordinate with the billing team to track daily invoicing and address pending bills.
Liaise with warehouse/logistics for dispatch scheduling and on-time deliveries.
Review stock statements for better inventory planning and decision-making.
Strong business acumen with prior experience in B2B distribution (preferably chemicals/nutraceuticals).
Excellent coordination and communication skills across multi-functional teams.
Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
Analytical thinking with an eye for detail.
Fluency in Hindi and English; knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.
Bachelors degree in Science Commerce or Business.
MBA/PGDM in Marketing International Business or Operations is preferred.
