Job Description

RN Transplant Permanent Role

  • Location: Dallas TX 75246
  • Shift: 12 HR Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
  • Guaranteed: 36 Hours
  • Compensation: Based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and hospital policies.
  • Monitor and manage patients before and after transplant procedures.
  • Administer medications including immunosuppressive drugs and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Educate patients and families on transplant procedures post-operative care medications and follow-up requirements.
  • Collaborate with transplant coordinators physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Recognize and respond to signs of complications including infection or organ rejection.
  • Document nursing assessments interventions and outcomes accurately and timely.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program (ADN or BSN).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital RN experience. Transplant or critical care experience.

License/Certification:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Certification (required within 30 days of hire).
