Job Description
RN Transplant Permanent Role
- Location: Dallas TX 75246
- Shift: 12 HR Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed: 36 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and hospital policies.
- Monitor and manage patients before and after transplant procedures.
- Administer medications including immunosuppressive drugs and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on transplant procedures post-operative care medications and follow-up requirements.
- Collaborate with transplant coordinators physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
- Recognize and respond to signs of complications including infection or organ rejection.
- Document nursing assessments interventions and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program (ADN or BSN).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital RN experience. Transplant or critical care experience.
License/Certification:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Certification (required within 30 days of hire).
