Nurse Practitioner-Transplant Permanent Role
- Location: Dallas TX 75246
- Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
Essential Functions: - Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused physical exams and medical histories.
- Order collect interpret and evaluate lab and diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe or recommend medical therapies and procedures following approved protocols.
- Perform indicated procedures with attention to efficacy safety and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide behavior modification recommendations and health risk counseling.
Key Success Factors: - Deep understanding of diagnostic/treatment practices for injuries diseases and dysfunctions.
- Ability to interpret complex lab/diagnostic results and develop outcome-based treatment plans.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and software applications.
- Ability to provide patient counseling on both medical and psychosocial concerns.
Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Experience: Open to candidates with less than 1 year of NP experience.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Active RN License (Texas or Compact State).
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) License in Texas.
- APRN Board Certification appropriate to patient population.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (within 30 days of hire or transfer).
