Job Description
RN-Cath Lab Permanent Role
- Location: Plano TX 75093
- Shift: 10 HR Nights 7:00 PM 5:00 AM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
Clinical Judgment:
- Conducts thorough and accurate assessments according to clinical standards.
- Identifies and prioritizes patient and family needs.
- Develops implements and evaluates individualized nursing care plans.
- Adjusts care plans based on patient outcomes and progress.
Clinical Inquiry & Quality Improvement:
- Assesses the effectiveness and quality of nursing care.
- Applies evidence-based practices and participates in research when needed.
- Supports and engages in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Caring Practices:
- Fosters a supportive safe and healing environment for patients and their families.
- Establishes therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Effectively manages emotional and physical discomfort promoting comfort and dignity.
- Incorporates cultural spiritual and personal values into the care approach.
Advocacy and Moral Agency:
- Upholds patient rights dignity and confidentiality.
- Advocates for patient and family preferences in clinical decisions.
- Identifies and helps resolve ethical or clinical issues in care planning.
- Strong knowledge of nursing protocols standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with health promotion and disease management practices.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and medication safety.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking problem-solving and the ability to adapt in high-pressure situations.
- Understanding of patient privacy laws and nursing ethics.
- Education: Nursing (Major in Nursing).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
Licensure/Certification:
- Registered Nurse (RN)-Active license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-Required within 30 days of hire.
