Job Description
RN-Labor & Delivery Permanent Role
- Location: McKinney TX 75071
- Shift: 10 HR Nights 7:00 PM 5:00 AM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
- Provide and coordinate high-quality nursing care during labor delivery and recovery.
- Act as a Charge Nurse during assigned shifts overseeing patient flow and staff performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.
- Assess nursing care plans for effectiveness and modify as necessary.
- Apply evidence-based practices and current research to improve patient outcomes.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using appropriate clinical techniques.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency care if needed.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in patient records.
- Support and mentor nursing staff and contribute to ongoing staff development.

Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
(BSN preferred or must be obtained within a specified timeframe) -
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery Charge Nurse experience.
Licensure:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
