RN - Bone Marrow Transplant | Permanent Role

• Deliver direct patient care based on transplant protocols nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Administer chemotherapy blood products and supportive therapies per physician orders and unit policy.
• Monitor and manage symptoms side effects and complications associated with cancer treatment and transplant.
• Educate patients and their families about the transplant process medications infection prevention and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
• Perform accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
• Adhere to infection control quality and safety standards specific to oncology/BMT care.
• Respond to emergencies and recognize signs of sepsis graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and other transplant-related complications.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Licensure: Active RN license in the State of Texas.
• Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)-Required within 30 days of hire.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the US (required).
• 2 years of oncology experience (highly desired).
• Bone Marrow Transplant experience (highly desired).
