Victory Kids Ministry Coordinator Position Status: Full-time Classification: Hourly- Non-exempt
SUMMARY
The Victory Kids Ministry Coordinator provides vital support to the Victory Kids Pastor and Kids Ministry by managing a variety of administrative tasks. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules and meetings managing communication assisting with family events assisting with budget and purchase orders and supporting guest follow-up processes. This role also ensures the ministry team is equipped and informed by distributing updates organizing team functions and handling day-to-day office needs. The ideal candidate is organized detail-oriented and passionate about using administrative skills to support ministry efforts and help kids grow in their relationship with God.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Answering phone inquiries and responding to emails in a courteous professional manner.
- Ensure all office supplies are maintained including checking inventory and work with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar schedule and coordinate staff meetings and other Next Gen meetings.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of files and filing systems.
- Assist Victory Kids Pastor with Victory Kids budget and PO Requests.
- Coordinate schedules arranging meetings distributing memos and reports ensuring the Kids Team is kept current of necessary news and information.
- Assisting the Victory Kids Pastor with family events and Big Rock ministry events.
- Assist in creating a professional and welcoming environment and excellent experience for families and guests through the check-in process for all Victory Kids Services.
- Leading the Victory Kids Host Team (Identify potential Victory Kids Host Team volunteers and cast vision values and culture; Facilitate and coordinate the orientation and training of Victory Kids Host Team; Weekly communication with the Host Team through Planning Center).
- Guest Follow up.
- Work cooperatively with the Kids Team to create an experience where families are served with excellence and children can grow in their relationship with God and with others.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good organization time management and scheduling skills
- Experience using office management software including Planning Center Online Teams Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Work cooperatively with other Victory Kids team members ministry departments and ministry personnel.
- Follow and support ministry leadership policy and vision.
- Attend noted meetings special events and ministry functions as expected providing pastoral care before and after services.
- Exhibit professionalism demonstrated by a conscientious work ethic
- Willing and able to work at a fast pace within a variety of setting sand circumstances withcomposure and flexibility.
- Conscious of the need for confidentiality.
- Exercise discernment and wise judgment.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: - Sitting standing bending kneeling squatting crawling stooping walking and the ability to lift and carry up to 25pounds and in case of emergency a 25-pound child;
