About The Role

Community Solutionsare proud to deliver theDisability Employment Services (DES) and weare looking for aRecruitment Partnerto join our friendly and supportive team. The successful applicant will come with a variety of work and life experience a can do attitude and willingness to think creatively when it comes to developing tailored pathways to employment for our customers who have a disability illness or injury. Key role responsibilities include:

• Engaging with employers and gaining an understanding of the local labour market to identify new and ongoing employment opportunities
• Networking with community organisations who work with people with a disability illness or injury to explain our services and attract those in our community who need support looking for work
• Developing strong relationships with customers both face to face and over the phone to understand their capacity to work their employment preferences and what support skills and knowledge they need
• Maintaining regular employer and customer contact after they start work to review their progress and ensure any issues are actioned swiftly
• Assisting our customers to become job ready
• Working with other local community services where required to address any barriers to employment that our customers may be experiencing
• Gathering documentary evidence to meet participant & department outcomes

About You

We are looking for passionate people who genuinely want to assist others in our local community; addressing any barriers that prevent our customers from securing ongoing meaningful employment. You dont need to have experience in our industry however here are a few things we are looking for:

• A positive attitude and awillingness to learnand adapt to an ongoing changing environment (this is a must!
• The ability to build rapport and communicate with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and life experience; you are a true people person
• You are not afraid to seek out and consult with local employers and community organisations to develop employment opportunities for our customers
• Experience working in a fastpaced environment in a high performance results focused culture
• Availability to work from 8.30 am 5.00 pm Monday to Friday
