Due to the planned retirement of our incumbent Director Ashbury College is currently seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead and oversee the full range of human resources programs and services. While supporting a broad range of clients across the College you will help enable the continued framework for a strong HR working environment. The role will champion and support a healthy and positive school culture as well as consult and communicate with our stakeholders on all human resources related matters. Reporting to the Head of School in this critical leadership and change management role you will work alongside the Colleges executive leadership team faculty and staff in meeting Ashburys strategic objectives including supporting our pluralism goals.
The successful candidate will have excelled in a diverse and complex organization with an accomplished track record in all aspects of generalist Human Resources leadership. You will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills organizational effectiveness experience with staffing and proactive leadership in upholding standards and expectations within the College. A collaborative and handson leader the Director will oversee a broad HR portfolio and will be the Human Resources standard bearer for service excellence in building relationships and in delivering integrated and innovative peoplecentred services. As a comfortable champion and spokesperson for the people dimensions of the College you will embody and foster our values through ethical behaviour accountability performance metrics and continuous improvement. A university degree in a related discipline and 710 years experience in a senior HR leadership role would be ideal.
