Job Description
The Canvassing Marketing Specialist is accountable for implementing direct marketing tactics via inperson interactions fostering leads and enhancing brand recognition. This position entails interacting with potential clients in specific regions effectively conveying the companys value proposition and gathering information to support sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a sociable goaloriented professional with excellent communication abilities and the knack for quickly establishing rapport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct doortodoor canvassing event marketing and community outreach to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
- Engage with potential customers provide information about products and services and answer questions to drive interest and conversions.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of company offerings to effectively communicate key benefits.
- Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize canvassing strategies and improve outreach effectiveness.
- Represent the company in a professional manner maintaining a positive and approachable attitude.
- Identify and report market trends customer concerns and competitor activities.
- Assist in organizing and participating in promotional events trade shows and community activities.
- Meet or exceed daily weekly and monthly lead generation targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies local regulations and canvassing guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in marketing communications or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in canvassing field marketing sales or customer service preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Selfmotivated goaloriented and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to handle rejection professionally and remain persistent in outreach efforts.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
- Must be able to walk for extended periods work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift marketing materials if needed.
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation are preferred.
