OPPORTUNITY

Carriageworks is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead the digital charge for one of Australias most dynamic contemporary multi-arts organisations.

In this hands-on role youll drive digital strategy across platforms to grow audiences deepen engagement and increase ticket sales. Youll be a digital storyteller and strategist with a strong grasp of analytics and a passion for the arts.

Working closely with a collaborative marketing team and external partners youll lead digital planning publishing content performance and innovation across:

  • Organic Social Media & Community Engagement
  • Paid Campaigns (Digital Advertising & SEM/SEO)
  • Copy and Content Creation
  • Email and SMS Communications (CRM/Direct Marketing)
  • Website and SEO Management
  • CRM Data Insights and Integration (Analytics & Reporting)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include:

  • Developing and executing targeted social and content strategies across digital platforms
  • Managing and optimising paid campaigns with internal and agency support
  • Writing compelling content for web email and social in Carriageworks brand voice
  • Overseeing email marketing and SMS communications including monthly enews
  • Maintaining and improving the Carriageworks website applying SEO best practices
  • Analysing performance data and producing monthly digital reports and post campaign reports with key insights

PREFERRED CRITERIA

  • 5 years experience in digital marketing experience in the arts or events is a bonus
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to create engaging digital content with a consistent tone of voice that drives audience connection and ticket sales
  • A proven track record in developing and executing innovative paid and organic social media campaigns
  • Experience managing a digital content calendar across multiple platforms
  • Hands-on knowledge of CMS (e.g. WordPress) email marketing tools (e.g. WordFly Mailchimp) and analytics platforms
  • Confidence in analysing data and reporting on performance across web email and social media with the ability to turn insights into action
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • A flexible can-do attitude including the willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as required

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite WordFly and Tessitura
  • Familiarity with the arts industry
  • Familiarity with project management systems like SmartSheet and Brandwatch
