Job Description
Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Instructor will work with instructional designers and other instructors to lead the instructor cadre and deliver and update NCTC mission IT Services Training coursework and documentation. This training supports effective use and O&M of the NCTC mission IT services and applications ensures enterprise compliance with customer current and oversight requirements and supports O&M team during the customers operational demonstration periods. Responsibilities include:
- Helping to execute a comprehensive approach and methods for training to support effective use and O&M of mission IT services and applications.
- Designing and delivering programs to train all levels of personnel
- Formulating teaching outline and determining instructional methods such as individual training group instruction lectures demonstrations conferences meetings and workshops
- Developing tests and visual aids conducting training classes and developing criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activitie
- Providing refresher training to the workforce on the datahandling requirements and implementing required training.
- Preparing training plans training curricula materials and schedules
- Performing training
- Evaluating training success
- Defining documenting maintaining and delivering SOPs and knowledge base modules that provide users with instructions that support and encourage selfhelp and self training
- Providing O&M support during the Sponsors operational demonstration periods including:
- Providing training to mission end users while also conducting TraintheTrainer training.
- Collaborating across the program to identify program needs and obtain technical data and schedules programs. Keeping abreast of training and development research: learning theory motivation theory and new materials methods and techniques.
- Conferring with management employees and the customer to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies procedures regulations business initiatives and technologies.
- Mentoring other instructors on the team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance
- Years of experience with degree: BS 810 MS 68 PhD 35
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Industry experience in the subjects being taught
- Teaching experience preferably in a similar setting
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or Certified Instructor Training programs
