The Associate Director Digital Health Program Management is accountable for the planning and implementation of digital health initiatives in the assigned therapeutic areas. The incumbent will be responsible for collaborating with Global and Regional Medical Affairs Medical Directors to develop and lead digital health initiatives that address unmet medical and scientific needs. Digital health projects may include patient and HCPdirected apps; automated collection of electronic outcome measures; health data analytics; and related technological approaches to addressing unmet medical needs in rare disease patient and HCP communities. Projects frequently include a clinical study and in these cases the Associate Director is responsible for study management and oversight. The Associate Director will independently lead crossfunctional teams associated with their digital health initiatives ensuring that staff in medical affairs information technology and other functions are aligned. They will be responsible for vendor selection and contracting as well as vendor partnership and oversight and will provide regular reports to senior management on the status and progress of their programs.
