Are you passionate about digital innovation in the built environment Axpo Grid invites you to join our Digital Engineering Department as an intern focused on BIM and Digital Twin technologies. This 6-month internship offers hands-on experience in BIM AS-IS modeling from point clouds and the curation of a BIM content library for power network infrastructure. Youll play an active role in our journey toward smarter more sustainable energy systemswhere digital models are key to planning operating and maintaining our critical assets. systems.

What you will do:

  • Develop and refine BIM models in Autodesk Revit representing AS-IS conditions of power network assets based on point cloud data.
  • Assist in building and maintaining a BIM content library with standardized reusable components for grid infrastructure.
  • Support the implementation of Digital Twin strategies contributing to data-rich models for improved asset management and decision-making.

What you bring & who you are:

  • Academic background in architecture civil engineering geomatics or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a strong interest in BIM and Digital Twin technologies.
  • Experience or interest in automation workflows using Dynamo Python or C# is a plus.
  • Curiosity about sustainable infrastructure and how digital tools enhance design and asset management.
  • Strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills in English Spanish and/or German is a plus.
  • Valid EU work permit or eligibility to work in Spain (EU/EFTA citizenship or equivalent).
