Cost Controller

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Controller to join our team on a contractor basis. The Cost Controller will be responsible for monitoring and controlling costs across all areas of the company ensuring that our operations remain efficient and profitable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cost control procedures and policies for the company
• Monitor and analyze all aspects of company spending including production costs overheads and inventory
• Identify areas for cost reduction and implement costsaving strategies
• Conduct regular cost reviews and provide recommendations to management for cost optimization
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets
• Track and report on budget variances and provide explanations for any discrepancies
• Participate in the development of new products and processes providing cost analysis and cost estimates
• Monitor and report on the financial performance of projects and initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control or a similar role
• Advanced Korean/Chinese and English Communication skills
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
