QAQC Manager - Rotterdam

For a leading Italian firm active in the Oil Energy MEP and Infrastructure industry sectors we are currently seeking for an accomplished QA/QC Manager to be involved in the NESTE Growth Capacity Project located in Rotterdam.

The QA/QC Manager will oversee all quality assurance and quality control aspects. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with quality processes and coordinating QC Inspectors to support the projects expansion goals particularly in sustainable aviation fuel production.

Tasks

• Quality Management Oversight: Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes standards regulations equipment specifications and ISO certifications.
• Process Coordination: Manage quality processes and coordinate QC Inspectors in collaboration with construction managers.
• Documentation and Compliance: Develop and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) ensuring that documentation meets project and regulatory standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality achievement and performance across the project.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership training and guidance to QA/QC personnel fostering a culture of highquality standards and compliance.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field.
• Certifications: Must hold primary certifications relevant to Quality Management in the Oil and Energy sector including ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and relevant Dutch certifications like VCA.
• Experience: Extensive experience in QA/QC roles within the oil gas or energy sector with a proven track record of managing largescale projects.
• Skills: Proficiency in implementing and overseeing quality management systems excellent organizational and leadership skills and adept at risk management and compliance adherence.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

This role is pivotal for ensuring the highest quality standards are met for the expansion of Europes largest biorefinery.

The QA/QC Manager will play a crucial role in guiding the project towards achieving its goals while maintaining compliance with international and local quality standards.
