About the Company:

Our client is a Crown corporation providing specialized and personalized financial services to farming operations. Our client offers financing insurance software learning programs and other business services to producers agribusiness owners and agrifood entrepreneurs across the country.



Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that system integration is seamless efficient and complete.

  • Proposes solutions to improve team processes.

  • Provides input on when to release product increments.

  • Performs code reviews and provides constructive feedback to peers.

  • Participates and/or leads application design sessions.

  • Provides feedback to senior technical leaders regarding design issues encountered during development.

  • Supports application implementation by resolving complex implementation issues.

  • Proactively researches new technology and applies and shares this information to forward the development process.

  • Ensures that all development team members understand standards and processes related to the clients development methodology.

  • Decision making authority.

  • Makes decisions related to software development activities system design and interpretation of business requirements.

  • Makes decisions on the design of technical solutions.

  • Provides input on system integration.


Requirements:

Required Experience

  • Knowledge is generally acquired by having completed an undergraduate degree in computer science or engineering and a minimum of five years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Required Skills:
  • Our client uses the Spring boot framework which uses Java language for backend.

  • Our client uses the Angular framework which uses Typescript language forfrontend.

  • Ability to produce working code with minimal supervision on relatively routine development tasks.

  • Ability to solve technical problems.

  • Proficient in a chosen technology stack.

  • Knowledge of the clients key technologies.

  • Ability to communicate moderate to complex technical concepts to technical and nontechnical personnel.

  • Ability to conceptualize and articulate ideas clearly and concisely.

  • Ability to produce a welldesigned solution in a reasonable amount of time.

  • Ability to design and implement a framework that is regarded as easy to use.

  • Understanding of common design patterns and when to apply them.

  • Ability to find solutions to complex problems.

  • Excellent troubleshooter.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Nice to Have:

  • Ag or business lending knowledge would be beneficial.




Specific Project Requirements: The company s Small Segment team is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and agile Change Advisor to support Small Segment initiatives by developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic change requirements in this space. The Change Advisor will play a key role in ensuring employee adoption and usage. The Change Advisor will focus on the people's side of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Advisor will work with initiative teams and leaders to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes. Skills: Top Skills Required: Demonstrate specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in change management consultancy. Excellent facilitation skills with ability to influence change at higher levels. Ability to quickly understand and gauge corporate climate and culture. Excellent communication skills. Other Skills Required: Excellent project management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Experience with change management in an Agile environment Assets: Minimum 7 years experience in employee and/or organizational effectiveness or change management. Advanced knowledge of organizational effectiveness or change management principles and practices. Change management certification or designation. Strong understanding of Financial institutions and/or previous experience providing change management support for financial institutions
