Network Automation Engineer

Role: Network Automation Engineer

Location: Bangalore Hybrid

Duration: Full Time

Must have skills:

• 7 years of supporting and understanding a large enterprise network.
• 5 years of demonstrated success designing implementing and
• maintaining network automation solutions to streamline network
• operations and improve service delivery quality.
• 5 years of writing code (primarily Ansible and Python API) to automate various
• network tasks such as device configuration change management monitoring.
• Strong programming skills in Python Ansible Terraform Restful API YAML JSON.
• Experience with network configuration management tools such as Ansible Chef or
• Puppet and Opensource Tools such as Grafana Kafka Prometheus Netbox
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Logic Monitor Nagios SolarWinds or
• Zabbix.
• Experience with setting up a Data Lake and AI/ML. nice to have
• Knowledge of networking in the area of WAN LAN WLAN DC SDN Cloud.
• Present network automation solutions and platform to peer engineers and network
• leadership.
• Create and publish network automation framework/library.
• Good interpersonal skills and an ability to clearly communicate ideas in businessfriendly and
• userfriendly terms.
• Highly selfmotivated with a keen attention to detail and outstanding customer service
• orientation
• Proven analytical evaluative and problemsolving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and complete tasks in a highpressure environment.

A Plus to have skills:

• BA/BS required and degree in STEM field preferred.
• CCIE or equivalent certification or experience.
• AWS Advanced Networking certification.
• AWS Solution Architect Certified Professional or equivalent AWS certifications.
• Azure Associate or Professional level certifications.
• Cisco Certified DevNet Associate
• Knowledge and handson experience with WAN/LAN//WLAN network and products services
• and solutions such as SDWAN SDBranch SDAccess
• Knowledge and handson experience of network protocols OMP OSPF; EIGRP BGP
• spanningtree hardware and software manufacturers and their roles within the industry
• (e.g. Cisco Arista Aruba Juniper Fortinet Zscaler and F5).
• Knowledge and handson experience with network security products services and solutions
• such as Next Generation Firewall IPS ZTNA SASE SSE 802.1X AAA
• Knowledge and handson experience of the Cisco Firepower product architecture and
• ecosystem (IPS ASA FTD FMC CDO).

Knowledge and handson experience of F5 load balancer

• Knowledge and handson experience with Network Tools such as DNAC CVP Meraki
• Dashboard manage Logic Monitor Syslog FMC Thousand Eyes
• Knowledge and experience of industrial/manufacturing/warehouse network and IOT.
