AWS Cloud Engineer - Remote - Contract 8 Months

This is a remote position.

Looking for a seasoned AWS Cloud Engineer for implementation of a liftandshift migration plan of 3 enterprise products.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with AWS services and solutions like EC2 S3 RDS/PostgreSQL DMS Terraform IAM Monitoring AppDynamics CloudWatch CloudTrail.
  
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives.
  
• Implementing and configuring AWS services according to the migration plan.
  
• Executing the liftandshift migration of applications data and workloads to the AWS cloud.
  
• Automating processes where possible to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of human error.
  
• Ensuring that the cloud infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  
• Implementing security measures such as identity and access management firewalls and encryption.
  
• Monitoring cloud resources and applications to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Analyzing performance metrics and logs to identify and resolve issues.
  
• Continuously optimizing resources for cost performance and scalability.
  
• Define test cases test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on the migration requirements.
  
• Collaborate with the IT and operations teams to set up and configure the test environments on AWS.
  
• Ensure that the test environment mirrors the production environment as closely as possible.
  
• Execute test cases and scenarios according to the defined test plan.
  
• Perform functional testing to ensure that all components of the products work as expected in the AWS environment.
  
• Collaborate with the integration and testing team to conduct integration testing of products with AWSnative services.
  
• Verify that data flows seamlessly between different components and services.
  
• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing with clients.
  
  

5+ years of experience with AWS services and solutions like EC2, S3, RDS/PostgreSQL, DMS, Terraform, IAM, Monitoring, AppDynamics, CloudWatch, CloudTrail.
