Android Engineer III

As an Android Engineer at Metric youll be part of a crossfunctional team building a global fintech product that solves realworld financial management problems for business owners. On a daily basis youll use your technical expertise to help shape solutions to complex problems while continuously advocating for good practices across the company. In this role youll not only focus on building a great product and solving immediate problems at hand but youll also make sure that were investing in the longterm success of the company.

Tasks

What You Will Do

• Write highquality code that is reliable maintainable and reusable
• Translate designs and wireframes into highquality code
• Design build and maintain highperformance reusable and reliable Java code
• Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of the application
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality organization and automatization

Requirements

Role Requirements

• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture.
• Preferably 2 years of technical experience with Android.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK frameworks and development patterns.
• Advanced skills with Kotlin.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
• Knowledge of the Firebase database and push notifications is good to have.
• Experience working on jetpack libraries and hilt dependency injection.
