Mechanical Foreman - Oil and Energy Sector

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Foreman to oversee and coordinate our mechanical maintenance team for a refinery shutdown project in Serbia.

The Mechanical Foreman will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of mechanical operations and maintenance within the refinery.

This role requires seasoned professionals with extensive experience in the Oil and Gas Refinery sector.

Tasks

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the mechanical maintenance team.
• Plan schedule and oversee mechanical maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time within budget and meet highquality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure coordinated efforts.
• Enforce strict safety protocols and procedures among the team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Prepare and monitor the mechanical maintenance budget.
• Report progress and challenges to project management.

Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in the Oil and Gas Refinery sector.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems fabrication welding and repairs.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Must be a citizen of the European Union or legally authorized to work in Serbia.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
