PLANTING CREW TEAM MEMBER
Description
The Landscaping Crew Member role involves performing a variety of tasks to complete landscape projects in the field with a small crew.
Job Duties
- Assist in site preparation, plantings (all plant types from large trees to small annuals), mulch and topsoil application, loading and unloading materials and tools and hauling equipment
- Able to drive a truck and trailer and operate landscaping equipment, machinery and tools
- Maintain a positive working relationship with foreman and other crew members to facilitate outstanding project results
- Coordinate with foreman on daily tasks and assignments
- Focus on attention to detail when completing projects
- Assist in unloading plant deliveries and other tasks in garden center
Requirements
- Valid driver license and current Driver Medical Card
- Available to work 40+ hours per week during busy season and possibly on weekends when needed
- Able to work in fast-paced, action-oriented environment in all elements
- Able to lift 60+ lbs
