Reporting: Software Manager
Role: Embedded Software Testing Engineer
Experience: 3+ Years
Location: New Delhi(Okhla) WFO
Notice period: Immediate to 30 Days
Job Description:
- Analyze and understand system requirements & design Test Cases using Test case Design Techniques
- Creating test plans based on product requirements, specifications, and on the fly
- Executing test cases on the Bench [Simulation Setup]
- Analyze results and report if any failures found
- Handling tools like Oscilloscope, Programmable Power supply, Function Generator
- Good in SQL to write medium complex join queries to validate the data in the
- Good understanding of JSON, XML, REST, SOAP,
- Perform various types of testing like sanity, functional, exploratory, integration and system testing to ensure that the product delivered is of high
- Follow the organization defined processes and ensure that all required documentation is created and
- Automating QA testing to improve speed and coverage
- Participate in user story reviews to provide input on functional requirements, Acceptance Criteria, schedules, or potential
- Have very good knowledge on SDLC and STLC life cycles and working knowledge in
Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, IEEE, or Quality Assurance ;
Experience: Three or more years of experience in software quality assurance
Essential Skills:
- Working with customer service and IT to address escalation issues, bugs, and support
- Oscilloscope, Programmable Power supply, Function Generator
- Knowledge of git
- Strong understanding of software testing
- Hands-on experience in Services testing tools like Fiddler, Postman, JSON
- Experience in test management tools like TFS, MTM, ALM,
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum
- Excellent analytical and problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Very good team player
- Performance Testing
Additional Preferred skills
- Testing cloud service platform from front-end web applications to back-end data processing
- Managing, installing, maintaining QA environments in IaaS and PaaS
- Testing mobile iOS and Android applications that control IoT
- Testing IoT device protocols (TCP,UDP,IP,MQTT and WTP).
- Experience in using CI tools like TFS, SVN,
- Basic knowledge of NET Framework, Windows, IIS ,Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Android
- Basic knowledge of C#, Angular, Typescript, Core, MVC, Web API, MSMQ,
- Experience in testing web services like SOAP,
- Virtual Machines setup
- Microsoft IIS configuration
