EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST

The applicant should be willing to travel extensively within the city and interact/work with stakeholders including beneficiaries, school management, contractors and vendors.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support core team projects related to procurement and logistics
  
• Co-ordinate and support events
  
• Work with Govt
  
• Manage office and stock room cleaning and maintenance
  
• Work with volunteers and corporate (Donor)
  
• Visit & shortlist beneficiaries for Bhumi s programmes
  
• Identify and engage vendors, procurement of materials (on need basis) and support procurement to pay
  
• Maintain vendor KPI and SLA
  
• Tracking, reporting and managing of teaching materials and other assets in the learning centres
  
• Overall project and office asset management
  
• Day to Day Operations
  

Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:

• Work experience 2 to 4 years
  
• Any graduation Under graduates / BE Civil
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Reasonable interpersonal and communication skills English & Tamil
  
• Basic computer skills MS Word & Excel Desirable
  
• Experience / knowledge about civil and infrastructure work - essential
  
• Resourceful, responsible and self-starting
  
• Willingness to travel extensively locally (fuel expense will be reimbursed)
  
• Having a two-wheeler - essential
