Tasks

The skill-set

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or related discipline

• Strong track record of building and delivering complex software systems
• Significant experience and expertise in one or more of the following technologies/languages (Javascript/Typescript, Nest.js)
• In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services
• Strong fundamentals in computer science
• Be open to working in agile environment

Requirements

The challenge

Develop backend solutions, implement AWS services to support a complex gameplay system

• Work closely with game designers to clarify design requirements as well as with artists and other programmers
• Solve technical issues collaboratively with the team towards the same goal
• Designing large scale multiplayer games infrastructure
• Provide and seek feedback in an effort to improve the quality of the experience for developers and players alike
• Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical team members

The location of this position is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

• This is not a remote position. You will work in the office in Amsterdam.
