Facilities Maintenance Technician

• Perform routine buildingmaintenance repairs andpreventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot facility issuesand complete repairswhen possible.
• Maintain interior andexterior areas ofthe property.
• Complete painting drywallrepairs carpentry installations and general handymanprojects.
• Perform basic plumbingand electrical repairswithin appropriate guidelines.
• Assist with HVACpreventative maintenancetasks including filterchanges and inspections.
• Maintain grounds parkingareas and exteriorproperty appearance.
• Coordinate with vendorsand contractors whenspecialized repairs areneeded.
• Maintain organized tools equipment maintenanceareas and records.
• Assist with facilityprojects furniture moves and operational needs.
• Operate a passenger shuttle van as needed after training.

• High school diplomaor GED.
• Valid Texas driverslicense with cleandriving record.
• Ability to liftand carry upto 75 pounds.
• Ability to workindoors and outdoorsin varying weatherconditions.
• Ability to passa background checkand drug screening.
• Ability to safelyuse hand tools power tools ladders and maintenance equipment.

• 35 yearsof facilities maintenance building maintenanceor handyman experience.
• Experience maintaining commercialproperties healthcarefacilities schools apartments hotels or similarbuildings.
• Strong troubleshooting andproblem-solving skills.
• Ability to workindependently with minimalsupervision.
• Experience working withcontractors and outsidevendors.

Experience with:

• Painting and drywallrepair
• Basic carpentry andwoodworking
• Door lock andhardware repairs
• Furniture assembly andfixture installation
• Mounting TVs shelving artwork and equipment
• Basic plumbing repairs
• Basic electrical repairs(lights switches outlets bulbs ballasts)
• Ceiling tiles flooring trim and finishrepairs
• Pressure washing andgrounds maintenance
• Lawn care andexterior property upkeep
• Preventative maintenanceinspections and documentation
