Job Summary
PLEASE NOTE:
- It is a 100% onsite position at Tallahassee FL.
- Contract Term: One year full time extendable
- Work Schedule: Scheduled hours between 8:00 AM 6:00 PM.
Primary Duties & Tasks:
- Design and develop CBTs using engaging activities quizzes and interactions via Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate.
- Apply scenario-based learning techniques adult learning theory and instructional design best practices.
- Create compelling graphics (logos banners flyers job aids) using Canva Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Create and edit audio and video for websites and CBTs using Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects Captivate and Articulate 360.
- Independently create storyboards follow project schedules manage workloads and communicate effectively with team members.
- Support special initiatives for the agency and Organizational Development Office.
Role Focus:
- Instructional design and computer-based training (CBT) development.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience and/or working knowledge of instructional design curriculum development adult education performance improvement graphic design or multimedia related subjects.
- Bachelors degree in instructional design curriculum development adult education graphic/digital design or related fields.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in multimedia development tools specifically Adobe Creative Suite Adobe Captivate and Articulate 360.
- Knowledge of instructional design adult learning creative design trends and 508 Electronic and Information Technology Standards.
- Skill in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint).
- Strong critical thinking problem-solving data analysis and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers colleagues and project teams.
- High level of initiative to organize workloads meet deadlines and monitor situations with minimal direction.
- Adaptability and flexibility to receive constructive criticism embrace process changes and maintain positive relationships.
