A logistics company in Carson CA is hiring a Customs Entry Writer II to process customs clearances for imports. This role ensures compliance with customs regulations prepares required documentation tracks shipments and supports accurate timely client billing and invoicing. A detail-oriented role central to smooth import operations and customer communication.



Requirements


Key Responsibilities

- Process customs clearances for imports adhering to all relevant customs regulations and company SOPs.

- Prepare and review Importer Security Filings (ISF) and other required customs documentation.

- Monitor and track import shipments to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers customs brokers freight forwarders and government agencies on customs matters.

- Research and resolve complex customs clearance issues documentation discrepancies and compliance concerns.

- Manage documentation and archive records efficiently.

- Support billing and invoicing by ensuring customs charges and related fees are processed accurately and on time.

- Oversee data management for client reports.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

- Bilingual in English and Korean.


Preferred Qualifications

- 3-5 years of experience in the customs field.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel Outlook Word).

- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
